Born on the Border is now available for purchase on Barnes and Noble’s website!

Born on the Border is my debut poetry collection. The poems provide a different perspective of life on the United States-Mexico border compared to modern media portrayals.

Compassion and complexity are at the center of topics such as identity, family, socioeconomic status, and immigration. These topics speak not only to the Mexican-American experience but to the experience of many. This poet calls on readers to see the parallels in their lives and reflect on the notion that we have more in common than what separates us.

I started working on this book in December 2023. It is an unreal feeling to finally be a published author. I hope you all love it!
